Description
When you want your tank water to look its absolute best for your fish, Seachem Laboratories Purigen Organic Resin Filter in the 100 ml size gives you a premium synthetic adsorbent in a manageable amount. This is not a mixture of ion exchangers or adsorbents. It is a unique macro-porous synthetic polymer made to remove soluble and insoluble impurities from the water your fish live in every day.
Why aquarium keepers reach for the 100 ml Purigen:
Works as a premium synthetic adsorbent, so you are not relying on a simple blend of ion exchangers or other adsorbents.
The macro-porous polymer is designed to pull both soluble and insoluble impurities out of the water for cleaner conditions.
Seachem says it removes impurities at a rate and capacity that exceeds all others by over 500 percent, the brand’s own measure of performance.
Helps control ammonia, nitrites and nitrates by removing the nitrogenous organic waste that would otherwise release these harmful compounds.
The brand notes its impact on trace elements is minimal, so it focuses on the waste rather than stripping the water bare.
Seachem says it significantly raises redox, another part of its claimed effect on water chemistry.
Polishes water to the unparalleled clarity Seachem describes, so your fish are easier to see and enjoy.
Darkens progressively as it exhausts, giving you a clear visible cue for when it is spent.
Easily renewed by treating with bleach, so the resin is built to be reused rather than tossed out.
Designed for both marine and freshwater use, which makes the 100 ml size handy across many different setups.
The 100 ml amount is a sensible quantity for smaller tanks or for keepers who want to try Purigen before committing to a larger volume of resin. This product is sold by volume, so you know exactly what you are getting from the start. Add it to your filtration routine, watch for that progressive darkening, and renew it with bleach when the time comes. For fur and fin parents who care about clear, well-managed water for their fish, the 100 ml Purigen is a tidy way to bring Seachem’s macro-porous resin into your aquarium.
