Description
Your fish depend on you for clean, well-conditioned water, and this 250-milliliter, 8.5-ounce bottle of Seachem Laboratories Prime makes that job easy for small and medium tanks. Prime is a complete and concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water, so this handy size works whether you keep a freshwater community or a marine aquarium. The 8.5-ounce bottle tucks neatly into a maintenance kit and is a great everyday choice for the typical home setup.
Why the 8.5-ounce Prime is a smart pick for your tank:
Removes chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia, helping make tap water safer for your fish.
Converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that is readily removed by the tank’s biofilter.
May be used during tank cycling to alleviate ammonia and nitrite toxicity in a new aquarium.
Detoxifies nitrite and nitrate, allowing the biofilter to more efficiently remove them.
Works as a complete, concentrated conditioner for both fresh and salt water from a single bottle.
Promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat that helps shield your fish.
Non-acidic, so it will not impact the pH of your aquarium water.
Will not overactivate skimmers, a helpful detail for marine keepers.
The 250-milliliter, 8.5-ounce size is easy to store and handle for routine water changes.
Built for use at start-up and whenever you add or replace water, keeping your routine simple.
Seachem recommends using Prime at start-up and whenever you are adding or replacing water, which makes this 250-milliliter bottle a convenient size to keep on the shelf. As part of their ongoing environmental stewardship efforts, Seachem notes they will donate a portion of the profits for every specially labeled bottle. Because Prime is concentrated, this modest 8.5-ounce bottle goes further than its size suggests, treating more water than you might guess from a single capful. Whether you are setting up a fresh tank or topping off an established one, give your aquatic companions the cleaner, steadier water they deserve with trusted Seachem Prime, and make conditioning a quiet, caring part of every water change.
