Description
When you want your aquarium media to stay put and your filter maintenance to stay easy, this Seachem Laboratories Mesh Filter Bag is a smart pick. This is the medium mesh version in white, measuring 12.5 inches by 5.5 inches, so it fits comfortably into many filter chambers. The zipper closure lets you fill, seal, and reuse the bag again and again, with no string or twist ties to wrestle with. It is a simple, reusable way to keep loose media organized inside your system.
What makes this medium mesh bag a keeper:
The medium mesh weave strikes a useful middle ground, holding your media securely while letting water move through freely.
The zipper closure means you can open, refill, and reseal the bag, turning media swaps and rinses into a quick, repeatable task.
Seachem builds it with durable seams, so you get a bag that is made to handle regular use inside your filter.
The corrosive-proof zipper is designed to stand up to the constant contact with aquarium water it will see over time.
The 12.5 inch by 5.5 inch size keeps a manageable footprint for canister, sump, or hang-on-back filter trays.
It is an excellent choice for biomedia such as Seachem Matrix, keeping your beneficial bacteria support neatly contained.
The white color makes it easy to notice debris and gunk, so you know exactly when a rinse is due.
No strings or ties are required, which means fewer loose bits floating around your filter compartment.
Since it reseals, you can pull it out, rinse it gently in tank water, and return it to its spot in seconds.
It works just as well with chemical media as it does with biomedia, so you can repurpose it as your setup changes.
It is sold as a single bag, ready for you to load with the media you prefer.
Clean water is the foundation of a happy tank, and an easy-to-service filter is what keeps you on schedule. Fill this medium mesh bag with your chosen chemical or biological media, zip it closed, and let your filter run the way it should. Because it reseals and rinses out, one bag can serve you through many maintenance cycles instead of being tossed after a single use. For fish keepers and fur mamas who like an organized, low-hassle setup, this Seachem bag keeps your media exactly where you want it, every water change.
