Ingredients and Formulation
The formula leads with deboned turkey, followed by deboned duck and deboned chicken – a three-protein poultry blend. Potatoes and peas serve as digestible carbohydrate sources. Flaxseed and safflower oil contribute natural fatty acids. Inulin is included as a prebiotic fiber source. Dried cultured whey and sunflower lecithin function as binders. The formula contains no artificial additives, grains, or gluten. Texture is soft and moist throughout, consistent with a grain-free soft treat formulation.
Texture, Size, and Feeding Guidance
These natural dog treats are sized specifically for small breed dogs, offering a soft, moist texture that requires little to no breaking apart. Their small format makes them practical for high-frequency training sessions where quick delivery and portion control matter. Chew time is minimal – these are intended as quick rewards rather than extended chewing experiences. Consumption speed will vary by individual dog size and eating style.
Training Treats
Merrick Lil’ Plates Teensy Turducken are sized for efficient delivery during active training with small breed dogs. Their small format eliminates the need for portioning, keeping training momentum consistent. Suitable for frequent reward use without overfeeding when used as directed.
