Material and Construction
The Lixit Dog Treat Jar Container is constructed from plastic with a clear body and a grey locking lid. The clear body allows the contents to be viewed without opening the container, making it easy to monitor treat levels and identify treat types at a glance. The locking lid provides a secure closure that prevents the container from opening accidentally during storage or transport. The plastic construction is lightweight and durable for moderate daily use.
Size, Capacity, and Usage Guidance
The container holds 44 oz and is sized for small dog treats. It is suitable for home storage as well as travel use, providing a portable treat supply for training sessions, walks, and outings. The medium size offers a balance between capacity and portability. For larger treat sizes or higher-volume storage needs, a larger container may be more appropriate.
Functional Use – Feeding Accessory
The Lixit Dog Treat Jar Container functions as a portable treat storage and dispensing accessory. It is not a feeder or automatic dispenser – treats are accessed manually by opening the locking lid. The container is designed for use at home as a countertop or cabinet storage solution, or during travel as a portable treat supply. The locking lid keeps contents secure between uses.
Safety, Usage, and Storage Guidance
Ensure the locking lid is fully secured before transporting to prevent spills
Store treats in a cool, dry location to maintain freshness
Clean the container regularly to prevent residue buildup from treat oils and crumbs
Inspect the lid locking mechanism periodically for wear that may affect closure security
Do not store treats beyond their recommended use-by date regardless of container
Cleaning and Maintenance
Hand wash the container and lid with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue before refilling with treats. Allow both components to dry fully before storing treats to prevent moisture buildup inside the container. Clean regularly based on treat type and usage frequency to maintain hygiene.
