Material and Construction
The KONG Low Stuff Flopzie Fox is constructed with a soft plush exterior featuring snuggly fur texture that dogs are naturally drawn to for carrying and cuddling. An added internal lining reinforces the structure, extending durability beyond standard plush toys. The low-stuffing design reduces fill volume, minimizing mess while maintaining the toy’s shape. The weighted bottom shifts the toy’s center of gravity during shaking, creating more dynamic and satisfying movement for medium dogs.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The exterior is soft and fur-like, making it comfortable for dogs to grip, carry, and rest with. The medium size is proportioned for mid-size breeds, providing enough length for satisfying shake and thrash play. The weighted bottom adds unpredictability to movement, extending engagement during active sessions. Play duration will vary based on individual dog behavior — this toy is best suited for moderate play styles and is not intended as a heavy-duty chew toy.
Play Style and Functional Use
The KONG Low Stuff Flopzie Fox is primarily a shake and thrash toy. Its long body whips and moves dynamically during shaking, while the weighted bottom amplifies the motion — mimicking prey behavior that engages medium dogs instinctively. Multiple squeakers with varied tones reward interaction and sustain engagement across play sessions. It also functions as a comfort carry and cuddle toy during quieter moments.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Moderate supervision is recommended, particularly during initial play sessions
Inspect regularly for signs of fabric wear, torn seams, or squeaker exposure
Replace the toy if the outer layer is significantly damaged or internal materials become accessible
Ensure the medium size is appropriate for your dog — best suited for medium breeds
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods, which can degrade the plush fur exterior and internal lining over time. Inspect seams and squeakers after each cleaning session.
