Material and Construction
The KONG Knots Noodlez is constructed with knotted rope both internally and externally, creating a layered structure that delivers resistance during tugging and a textured surface for grip. The jointed dual-shape body adds flexibility and unpredictable movement, making tossing and shaking more engaging for large dogs. The rope fiber construction also provides light dental support through contact during chewing. Durability is rated moderate duty — appropriate for large dogs that are active players with light to moderate chew strength.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The textured knotted rope exterior delivers a firm, fibrous grip surface that large dogs can easily grab and hold during dynamic play. The jointed LG body accommodates the natural movement and jaw size of large breeds, allowing for full-body engagement during shaking and thrashing. Play duration will vary based on individual play style and chew intensity — tug- and toss-focused dogs will engage for extended sessions, while more aggressive chewers should be monitored closely. This toy is not recommended for power chewers.
Play Style and Functional Use
Tug Toy: The jointed body and knotted rope construction provide a natural grip point for owner-led tug sessions, encouraging interactive bonding and physical engagement with large dogs. Toss Toy: The jointed dual shape creates unpredictable bounce and movement when tossed, sustaining chase and retrieve instincts. Shake Toy: The long, jointed body moves dynamically during shaking and thrashing, satisfying prey-mimicking instincts. Chew Toy: Internal and external rope fibers provide a satisfying chew surface with light dental support through fiber contact.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Moderate supervision is recommended during all play sessions
Inspect regularly for fraying rope fibers, loose knots, or structural wear — replace if damaged
Confirm the LG size is appropriate for your dog’s breed and jaw strength
Not intended for aggressive or power chewers
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with a damp cloth as needed. Allow to air dry fully before returning to use. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods that may degrade rope fibers or the jointed structure. Inspect knot integrity and overall construction after each cleaning.
