Why Pet Owners Choose This Set
Combines a soft HuggleFleece plush bone with a calming spray to create a multi-sensory comfort experience that addresses dog anxiety from two angles simultaneously
Calming spray contains essential oils and pheromones — including lavender, sage, rosemary, geranium, bergamot, frankincense, cedarwood, and vanilla — formulated to promote relaxation in anxious dogs
HuggleFleece bone provides a soft, familiar comfort object that dogs can snuggle, carry, and settle with during stressful situations
Calming spray can be applied directly to the bone, as well as to mats, beds, and other surfaces — or air spritzed in the dog’s environment for broader calming effect
Addresses common anxiety triggers including travel, thunderstorms, vet visits, and separation without requiring medication
Suitable for dogs of all sizes as a comfort and calming enrichment tool
HuggleHounds’ first solution toy set — purpose-built to go beyond play and support dog wellbeing
Material and Construction
The HuggleFleece bone is constructed from HuggleHounds’ signature HuggleFleece fabric — an ultra-soft plush material designed for maximum comfort and snuggle appeal. The bone shape is familiar and easy for dogs to carry and settle with. The calming spray is formulated with a blend of essential oils and pheromones selected for their calming properties: lavender, sage, rosemary, geranium, bergamot, frankincense, cedarwood, and vanilla. The spray is designed for multi-surface application — toys, mats, beds — and can also be air spritzed in the dog’s immediate environment. This is a light-duty comfort toy set; the bone is not designed for aggressive chewing.
Texture, Size, and Comfort Guidance
The HuggleFleece exterior is exceptionally soft and plush, making it well-suited for dogs that seek tactile comfort during anxious moments. The bone shape is sized for small to large dogs to carry and snuggle comfortably. When the calming spray is applied to the bone, the scent profile — anchored by lavender — creates a combined tactile and olfactory calming experience. Effectiveness will vary by individual dog; consistent use in conjunction with anxiety-triggering situations may help dogs associate the scented bone with a calming routine.
Play Style and Functional Use
This set is designed for comfort enrichment rather than active play. The HuggleFleece bone functions as a calming companion — a soft, scented object dogs can carry, snuggle, and settle with during stressful situations. The calming spray extends the set’s utility beyond the toy itself, allowing pet owners to create a calming environment across multiple surfaces and spaces. It is not designed for fetch, tug, or heavy chew use. For best results, introduce the bone and spray during calm periods so the dog builds a positive association before anxiety-triggering events occur.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Supervise your dog during use, particularly during initial introduction of the calming spray. Inspect the HuggleFleece bone regularly for signs of wear or damage and replace if compromised. The calming spray is formulated for use on pet items and in pet environments — follow label directions for application. Keep the spray away from the dog’s eyes and do not apply directly to the dog’s coat without consulting label guidance. Store the spray in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean the HuggleFleece bone with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying, which can compromise the HuggleFleece fabric. Reapply calming spray to the bone as needed to maintain scent effectiveness. Inspect the bone’s seams and fabric after each use.
