Material and Construction
Constructed from soft plush fabric with an internal layer of durable mesh backing consistent with Huxley & Kent’s Power Plush line. This reinforced construction extends the toy’s structural integrity during active toss and carry play beyond what standard plush formats provide. The interior includes a squeaker mechanism and crinkle material for dual auditory feedback. The candy-shaped silhouette with rainbow coloring provides a visually engaging format for dogs drawn to novelty shapes. This is a moderate-duty plush toy — not designed for aggressive chewing or sustained bite pressure. The soft exterior remains gentle on gums and teeth throughout use.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The toy has a soft, pliable exterior with a structured crinkle interior. The large format is proportioned for medium to large breeds, providing a satisfying grip for carrying and tossing. Play duration will vary based on the individual dog’s interest level and play style; the Power Plush construction supports longer play sessions than standard plush. Dogs that are gentle to moderate handlers will get the most extended use. Not recommended for dogs that aggressively chew through plush materials.
Play Style and Functional Use
This is a plush toy suited for toss play, carrying, and light interactive sessions. The squeaker activates with gentle pressure, rewarding dogs that mouth or paw the toy. The crinkle layers add a secondary sound cue that sustains interest during solo play. The compact candy shape makes it easy to toss indoors and retrieve, and the colorful design adds visual interest during play. Supervision is recommended during all play sessions, particularly for dogs that tend to pull at seams or fabric layers.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Supervise all play sessions — this is a plush toy not designed for unsupervised aggressive chewing
Inspect regularly for torn seams, exposed squeaker, or loose fabric; replace if damaged
Ensure toy size is appropriate for your dog — the large format is intended for dogs 25 lbs and over
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use to maintain fabric and mesh integrity
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with a damp cloth for light soiling. Hand washing with mild soap is recommended for more thorough cleaning. Allow to air dry completely before returning to use. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods, as these can damage the plush fabric, squeaker mechanism, and internal mesh layer.
