Description
Some fish are built to hunt their meals near the bottom, and Hikari USA Sinking Carnivore Pellets are made with those eaters in mind. This is the 2.61 oz size, a tidy supply for a single carnivore or a small carnivorous community. Hikari describes it as a scientifically formulated, rapidly sinking pellet developed specifically for carnivorous fish who require higher usable protein levels, and the brand even calls it great for any finicky eater too. What sets the 2.61 oz Sinking Carnivore Pellet apart: A 2.61 oz quantity that suits a smaller tank or a single carnivorous fish. Rapidly sinking pellets, so the food heads down to where bottom-oriented carnivores like to feed. Developed specifically for carnivorous fish that, as Hikari notes, require higher usable protein levels. Built on fish meal and krill meal, placing protein-rich aquatic ingredients at the top of the recipe. Includes spirulina and dried seaweed meal, adding aquatic plant ingredients to the formula. Carries astaxanthin and canthaxanthin, carotenoid ingredients Hikari chose for the pellet. High in stabilized vitamin C, listed as L-ascorbyl-2-polyphosphate, the brand’s antioxidant addition. Supported by a full vitamin and mineral package, including vitamin E, A, D3, B12, and trace minerals. Described by Hikari as great for any finicky eater, the brand’s framing for fussy fish. A scientifically formulated diet, in the brand’s words, for committed carnivore keepers. Feeding a carnivore is a bit different from feeding a community tank, and a rapidly sinking pellet helps the food reach fish that prefer to eat lower down rather than at the surface. This 2.61 oz size is an easy way to keep the right diet on hand without overstocking for a small setup. Lean on the higher usable protein the brand built into the recipe, along with the stabilized vitamin C and rounded vitamin and mineral package, and reach for Hikari USA Sinking Carnivore Pellets when your carnivorous fish, even the finicky ones, need a meal made for the way they eat.
