Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do the shades increase light intensity inside the aquarium?
Each shade’s interior features a high-grade mirrored finish. Stray horizontal light rays that would normally scatter into your room strike the mirror and reflect downward into the water, increasing effective light penetration by up to 15%.
2. How do I install the Chihiros B Series Light Shades?
Installation is completely tool-free! The shades feature custom-fitted tabs that slide cleanly into the built-in tracks on the front and rear edges of your Chihiros B Series LED housing.
3. Will these shades fit other Chihiros models like the WRGB II or SLIM Series?
No. These shades are custom-sized specifically for the Chihiros B Series profile. For other Chihiros fixtures, please select the matching SLIM Light Shade or WRGB II PRO Light Shade.
