Bone-in structure provides natural calcium and phosphorus: The neck bone delivers naturally occurring calcium and phosphorus without synthetic mineral supplementation. Rawhide-free alternative: Freeze-dried chicken necks offer a natural chewing experience without the processing concerns associated with rawhide products. 42% crude protein from butcher-cut whole protein: High protein density from a whole-food animal source, not a processed protein concentrate. Freeze-dried raw preservation: The freeze-drying process retains the raw nutritional profile of chicken neck without artificial preservatives. Grain-free and clean label: No grains, artificial flavors, or synthetic fillers – suitable for raw, ancestral, or grain-free feeding routines. Engages natural chewing behavior: The bone-in format provides a more substantial chewing experience than soft or bite-sized treats, supporting oral engagement. Ingredient Transparency The sole ingredient is chicken neck. There are no secondary ingredients, fillers, binders, or preservatives of any kind. The freeze-drying process is used in place of artificial preservation methods, maintaining the raw nutritional profile of the whole chicken neck including bone, meat, and connective tissue. This makes the ingredient panel as straightforward as possible for owners evaluating treats for dogs with food sensitivities or those following a raw or limited ingredient diet. Texture, Size, and Feeding Experience Freeze-dried chicken necks have a firm, crisp texture due to the bone-in structure. The neck softens as the dog chews, making it more digestible than raw or air-dried bone alternatives. At 42.5 kcal per piece, these are higher in calories than bite-sized training treats – daily treat portions should account for this, particularly for smaller or less active dogs. Larger dogs may consume a neck in a single sitting, while smaller dogs may take longer or benefit from supervision to ensure appropriate piece sizing. Always select a treat size appropriate for your dog’s breed and jaw size. Feeding Guidance and Safety Always supervise your dog during treat time – bone-in treats require monitoring. Select an appropriate size for your dog’s breed and jaw size. Provide fresh water alongside treat feeding. Adjust daily treat portions based on your dog’s size, weight, and activity level – at 42.5 kcal per piece, account for these in daily caloric totals. Treats should complement, not replace, a complete and balanced diet. Store in a cool, dry place and reseal packaging after each use.
