Description
Crisp, clear aquarium water makes everything about your tank more enjoyable, and a dependable filter sock is one of the easiest ways to get there. The Seachem Laboratories Mesh Filter Sock with Plastic Collar in white comes in the small 4 in x 12 in size, a great fit for compact sumps and overflow systems where space is tight. It quietly captures the fine debris that clouds water and feeds nutrient problems, helping your aquatic family live in the kind of clean, healthy environment they deserve.
Why this small filter sock earns its spot:
Removes suspended debris and detritus that, left unchecked, often lead to excess dissolved organics, nitrate, and phosphate.
Helps maintain the water quality your fish rely on by trapping particles before they have a chance to break down.
Made of polyester mesh and stitched, built for steady service inside a sump and overflow system.
Features a plastic collar that holds the sock’s shape and helps it seat neatly in your filtration.
Comes in the small 4 in x 12 in size, ideal for compact systems or tighter sump compartments.
Finished in clean white, making it easy to tell at a glance when it is time to rinse or replace.
Seachem calls filter socks a critical component in maintaining aquarium water quality, and an integral addition to any sump and overflow system.
Works as part of your mechanical filtration to keep the water column looking clear and inviting.
Ships as a single sock, ready to slot into your current setup.
Perfect for nano and smaller systems, or as a handy backup for your cleaning rotation.
For all its simplicity, a filter sock does real work every single day your pump runs. By pulling out the fine particles that cloud water and quietly drive up nutrients, this small Seachem sock helps you stay ahead of buildup in compact systems where every bit of filtration counts. Keep a couple on hand so you can swap and rinse on a schedule, give your sump the mechanical support it needs, and enjoy clearer water and happier fish without the fuss.
