Internal squeakers provide immediate auditory feedback that rewards interaction and sustains play interest
Minimal stuffing means less material to scatter if the toy is breached — easier cleanup and reduced ingestion risk

Doubles as a comfort companion for downtime, napping, and low-energy moments
Trusted KONG construction with consistent quality standards across materials and design
Material & Construction
The KONG Wild Low Stuff Fox is constructed with a dense, premium soft plush exterior that provides a realistic fur-like texture. The body is intentionally low-stuffed with minimal poly-fill, allowing for a naturally floppy feel that moves fluidly during shake and carry play. Internal squeakers are sewn into the body to provide auditory engagement. At 0.26 lbs, the medium size keeps the toy manageable for small to medium dogs without adding unnecessary bulk. This toy is built for comfort play and moderate interaction — not for sustained heavy chewing.
Texture, Size & Play Duration Guidance
The exterior has a soft, dense plush feel that is inviting for dogs who enjoy mouthing and carrying soft objects. The medium size is appropriate for small to medium breeds — dogs large enough to carry it comfortably but not so large that the toy becomes a single-bite target. Realistic play engagement typically lasts 10–30 minutes per session depending on the dog’s interest level and play style. Dogs with strong prey drive may engage more intensely; dogs who prefer comfort toys may carry and cuddle the fox for extended periods. Play duration and durability will vary based on individual dog behavior.
Play Style & Functional Use
As a plush toy, the KONG Wild Low Stuff Fox is designed primarily for comfort use and light to moderate play. The floppy body and realistic fox shape make it well-suited for shake-and-thrash sessions that satisfy hunting instincts. The internal squeakers add an interactive layer that encourages dogs to engage repeatedly. This toy is not designed for tug-of-war or aggressive chewing — dogs who play roughly with plush toys should be monitored closely and transitioned to more durable options if the toy shows rapid wear.
Safety, Usage & Care Guidance
Always supervise play, especially during initial introduction. Inspect the toy regularly for torn seams, exposed squeakers, or stuffing loss — remove and replace the toy if any of these occur. Select the appropriate size for your dog; a toy that is too small presents a choking risk. This toy is not recommended for aggressive chewers or dogs who destroy plush toys quickly. Store in a dry location when not in use to maintain material integrity.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Spot clean with mild soap and warm water. Air dry completely before returning to your dog. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this may damage the plush exterior and internal components. Inspect seams after cleaning.
