Material and Construction
The Cozie Floppy Rabbit MD is constructed from soft plush fabric with an additional reinforcement layer integrated into the build — a step up from single-layer stuffed toys. This extra material layer adds resistance to surface tearing during light chewing and fetch play. The rabbit’s floppy ears are a defining design feature — they provide natural grip points for shaking and tossing, and add tactile interest during carrying and snuggling. Construction is classified as light to moderate duty; it is designed for medium dogs who enjoy plush toys without being aggressive chewers. The pink colorway makes the Floppy Rabbit a visually distinctive addition to the Cozie lineup.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The exterior is soft and tactile, making it appealing for medium dogs that prefer plush over rubber or nylon. At 0.24 lbs, this size is proportioned for comfortable carrying and full-mouth engagement appropriate to the medium dog size range. The floppy ears add an additional textural and grip element that encourages shaking and tossing behavior. Play duration will vary — light to moderate chewers and fetch-oriented dogs will enjoy extended sessions, while dogs with stronger chew drives may work through the material faster. This toy is best matched to medium dogs who treat plush toys as companions rather than destruction targets.
Play Style and Functional Use
Comfort and Fetch Plush Toy:
The internal squeaker activates during compression, rewarding biting and carrying behavior with auditory feedback. The rabbit’s floppy ears are a natural toss and shake handle — medium dogs instinctively grip and shake the ears during prey-drive play. The soft body makes it easy to carry and snuggle during downtime. Medium dogs that carry toys as comfort objects will find the soft texture and manageable weight ideal for resting. Supervision is recommended during active chew sessions to monitor wear on the extra material layer and ear construction.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Supervise play to monitor chewing intensity and assess wear on the plush material and floppy ears
Inspect regularly for seam separation or exposed stuffing — replace if internal components become accessible
Match toy size (MD) to medium dogs to ensure safe carrying and play proportions
Remove squeaker components if they become exposed during play
Store in a clean, dry area when not in use to preserve fabric quality
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Allow to air dry fully before returning to use. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying, which can compromise the plush fabric, ear construction, and internal seam integrity. Check the squeaker during each cleaning to confirm it remains securely enclosed.
