Material and Construction
The KONG Comfort Kiddos Bear Small is constructed from soft plush fabric with a lightweight internal structure scaled for small dogs and puppies. The low-tone bellow squeaker is housed within the body and produces a gentle sound calibrated to engage without overwhelming. The squeaker is fully removable and re-insertable, extending the toy’s functional range from active play to quiet comfort. Durability is rated light duty — this toy is designed for gentle chewers and supervised play, not aggressive chewing.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The exterior is soft and smooth, providing a comfortable surface for small dogs to carry, mouth, and snuggle. The Small size is appropriate for toy breeds, small dogs, and puppies that benefit from a proportionally sized plush toy. Play duration will vary based on the individual dog’s engagement style — dogs drawn to squeaker toys and plush textures will engage for extended sessions, while more active chewers may move on quickly. Moderate supervision is recommended to monitor seam integrity and plush wear over time.
Play Style and Functional Use
This is a plush toy designed for comfort and light interactive play. The squeaker adds a sound-based engagement layer for dogs that respond to auditory stimulation. The removable squeaker feature allows the toy to transition into a quiet comfort object — useful during rest, travel, or for dogs that become overstimulated by squeaker sounds. It is not designed for fetch, tug, or heavy chewing sessions.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Recommended for gentle chewers and small dogs under moderate supervision
Inspect regularly for worn seams, torn fabric, or squeaker exposure — replace if damaged
Confirm the Small size is appropriate for your dog to minimize risk of accidental ingestion of small parts
Remove squeaker if your dog tends to chew through plush toys aggressively
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Spot clean with a damp cloth for light soiling. For deeper cleaning, hand wash with mild soap and allow to air dry completely before returning to your dog. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods, as these can damage the plush fabric and internal squeaker mechanism.
