Material and Construction
The Fry Guys Floats Kevin is constructed from neoprene — a flexible, water-resistant material commonly used in aquatic applications. Neoprene provides buoyancy for floating fetch play while maintaining a soft, pliable feel during carry and retrieval. The stick-shaped form holds its structure during active play and is sized for large dogs. This is a moderate-duty toy suited for active fetch play rather than sustained chewing sessions.
Texture, Size, and Play Duration Guidance
The neoprene exterior has a smooth, flexible feel that is comfortable for dogs to carry and retrieve. The large size is best suited for medium to large dog breeds. Engagement duration will vary based on individual play style — dogs that favor fetch and water retrieval will typically sustain longer sessions. This toy is not designed for aggressive chewers and should not be used as a primary chew toy.
Play Style and Functional Use
Fetch Toy: The stick shape and neoprene buoyancy make this toy well-suited for water fetch and backyard retrieve games. It floats on the surface for easy visibility and retrieval in pools, lakes, and open water.
Squeak Toy: The built-in squeaker provides auditory engagement during play, supporting interactive sessions both in and out of the water.
Thrash Toy: The flexible neoprene structure supports independent thrashing and shaking play during solo sessions. Moderate supervision is recommended.
Safety, Usage, and Care Guidance
Moderate supervision is recommended at all times, especially during water play
Never leave dogs unsupervised near water during play sessions
Inspect the toy regularly for signs of wear, neoprene tears, or squeaker exposure
Replace the toy if the outer material is compromised or internal components become accessible
Ensure toy size is appropriate for your dog to reduce ingestion risk
Store in a clean, dry location when not in use
Cleaning and Maintenance
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each use, particularly following pool or saltwater play. Allow to air dry completely before storing. Avoid machine washing or high-heat drying methods that may compromise the neoprene material or internal squeaker components.
