Frequently Asked Questions
At what age is a cat considered senior?
Most cats are considered senior at 7 years and older. Now Fresh Senior is formulated specifically for this life stage, with nutrient levels adjusted to support aging metabolism, weight management, and digestive health.
Why is L-Carnitine included in a senior formula?
L-Carnitine supports fat metabolism and helps maintain lean muscle mass – both important considerations as cats age and become less active. It helps the body efficiently convert fat into energy rather than storing it.
Is this formula appropriate for weight management?
Yes. The protein and fat levels are specifically balanced to support a healthy weight in senior cats. The inclusion of L-Carnitine and fibre-rich ingredients further supports weight management goals.
Does this formula contain any grains?
No. This is a grain-free formula with no wheat, corn, soy, or other grains. Carbohydrates come from digestible sources like potatoes and peas.
