Product Overview
Ultum Nature Systems Controsand offers a versatile lineup of natural decorative sands and gravels designed to give any planted tank or freshwater aquarium a finished, professional look. Vesuvius is a chunky black lava rock aquarium gravel that brings serious dark-mode energy that contrasts beautifully with lighter hardscape and colorful aquatic plants. Its highly porous composition is great for housing beneficial microbes and provides a natural, secure foraging ground for dwarf shrimp! Measuring 4mm to 8mm, this dark substrate looks fantastic as a standalone substrate, scattered around hardscape bases, or layered with other cosmetic sand.
